Matt and Rachel Bernard own and operate OffSzn Trainer!
We both worked in director roles for large soccer clubs for more than 20 years in California. We moved to South Carolina in 2023 and want to make a positive impact in the South Carolina soccer community.

Matt has coached for 23 years. He has worked at the club, youth professional, collegiate, and youth national team level. He holds a USSF C license and a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches. Matt previously owned and operated Off The Line Goalkeeper Academy where he worked with hundreds of goalkeepers and field players from 2018-20

Matt previously owned and operated Off The Line Goalkeeper Academy where he worked with hundreds of goalkeepers and field players from 2018-2023. As a player Matt was an NSCAA All American, Final Four MVP, and an NCAA National Champion at Sonoma State University in 2002.

Rachel worked as a coach and director at San Juan Soccer Club in Sacramento, CA from 2005-2023. She was instrumental in the development of hundreds of players. Many who went on to play at the collegiate and professional level. She holds a USSF B license and played collegiately at Long Beach State University.

Alfonso has coached during and after his professional playing career that took him all over the United States. He coached at the youth and collegiate levels. He holds a USSF B license and played professionally in the MLS and USL for 8 years. In 2014 he was a member of the Sacramento Republic USL Championship team. He also played collegia

He also played collegiately for UC Santa Barbara and won a NCAA National Championship in 2006.
